The second joint call of the DUT Partnership – the DUT Call 2023 – opens on 1 September 2023 and offers opportunities for transnational and transdisciplinary cooperation along and across the three DUT Transition Pathways.
The purpose of this Call is to support transnational research and/or innovation projects addressing urban challenges to help cities in their transition towards a more sustainable economy and functioning. The challenges are grouped into three themes called Transition Pathways: Positive Energy Districts (PED), the 15-Minute City (15mC) and Circular Urban Economies (CUE). Deadline for pre-proposals submission is 21 November 2023, 13:00 CET.
TA CR will support Czech applicants in these topics:
Positive Energy Districts Pathway (PED):
- Energy Resilience and Energy Poverty
- Enabling Systems for Local Energy Transitions: Collaboration and Sustainable Investment
15-Minutes City Pathway (15mC):
- Mobility and Planning Policies for Proximity-oriented Developments
Pathway Positive Energy Districts aims to optimise the local energy system through energy efficiency, flexibility and local energy generation from renewables in actions towards the (urban) energy transition and climate-neutrality and mainstreaming these actions in urban planning processes. Pathway 15-Minutes City focusses on rethinking the existing mobility system and urban morphology to encourage sustainable mobility choices, redistribute urban space and reorganise our daily activities to make our cities more climate neutral, liveable and inclusive.
The rules of the call for Czech applicants are based on the SIGMA programme. The total financial amount of TA CR support for the call for Czech applicants in international projects is EUR 760 000. The maximum financial amount of support per project is EUR 200 000. The maximum intensity of support for the Czech side of the project is 80% of the total eligible costs of the project.
