The collection and analysis of data on the participation of women and men in calls for proposals, on their involvement in the evaluation process and on funded projects is an essential part of gender equality activities. Not only can we learn more about inequalities in the provision of public funding thanks to the analysis of gender-disaggregated data, or monitor the effectiveness of steps taken and the achievement of set goals, but transparency and regular publication of these data can themselves have a positive impact on the entire research ecosystem.
For several years now, TA CR has been developing a system for collecting, analyzing and publishing gender data related to the success rate of women and men in calls for proposals, the involvement of women and men in the implementation of research projects and their participation in evaluation bodies of individual support programmes.
